During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, a worldwide survey was conducted between July and August 2020 to determine hotel guest preferences for the use of contactless options during their stay. The results indicated that a slight majority of respondents, 53 percent, were not more likely to order room service if the hotel gave them an option to order via app.
