Innovative payment services: readiness to use France 2019

When it comes to paying online, the services are various but the security questions that arise for the customers are always present. With a value of domestic Fraud on online payments reaching up to 163 million euros in 2018, the need for innovative and secure online payment methods is obvious. Thus, according to a survey conducted by the Electronic Business Group in 2019, a total of 81 percent of respondents in France declared to be willing to make payments by fingerprint once this becomes available in the future. Moreover, around 50 percent said that they would make payments by facial recognition in the future.
