Budgeting attitudes for holiday season meals France 2019

While the holiday season is associated with celebrations such as Hanukkah, Christmas, and New Year, it is also linked to other activities, a chief one being shopping. Indeed, with the population going on the hunt for the perfect gift and the perfect menu, the end of the year is certainly a peak season for the retail sector. Almost 60 percent of the French population declare spending more money on meals during that period than they do the rest of the year (while still setting limits and remaining within them).
