Made-in-France is a statement displayed on manufactured products to inform the consumer about the place of manufacture. The most common arguments supporting the consumption of products made in France are mainly related to the support of employment in France, a higher quality of products, and stricter social and environmental standards. In 2020, these types of products were particularly popular among the French population aged over 65, almost half of whom consumed them exclusively, compared to 23 percent of 18-24 year olds.
