According to a survey conducted in the United States in January 2021, 74 percent of Apple users said that they would allow their activities to be tracked across the apps and websites they visit if it meant not having to pay for content or features that are currently free. Just because an app is familiar, like Facebook or Instagram, it doesn't mean people are more likely to opt in to tracking, with 61 percent of respondents saying the would not allow tracking for this reason.
