Knowledge of meat alternative in Taiwan 2020, by consumer type
According to a survey among consumers in Taiwan, as of August 2020, more than half of vegan respondents had tried out plant-based meat before. However, the proportion was only 27.3 percent among non-vegan consumers. More than 80 percent of vegan and non-vegan respondents are willing to try out meat alternatives in the future.
