Economic impact of violence in Ghana 2010-2020
As of 2020, the economic impact of violence in Ghana, adjusted for purchasing parity (PPP), was estimated at roughly 9.4 billion U.S. dollars. This was the highest impact experienced by the country since 2010. The economic impact of violence includes the direct and indirect costs of violence as well as an economic multiplier applied to the direct costs.
