Volume of Australian beef offal imports in Greater China FY 2020, by major cut
In the financial year 2020, over 21 thousand metric tons of beef tripe were imported to China from Australia, accounting for around 71 percent of China’s imported Australian beef offal. Meanwhile, beef heart and tendon totaled around one-fifth of the imported beef offal from Australia to China, estimated at three thousand and 2.8 thousand metric tons respectively. According to the source, 2020 saw a slight decrease in China’s imported beef offal import volume from Australia compared to the previous year.
