Landlords' confidence in different business attributes in the UK Q3 2021-Q3 2022

Sentiment among UK landlords decreased dramatically in 2022. Landlord business expectations in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2022 were measured using five key indicators that included capital gains, own letting business, rental yield, the UK financial market and the UK private rental sector. The numbers in the statistic show the share of landlords that rated the prospects of the attribute in the next three months as good or very good. According to the survey, 37 percent of surveyed landlords were optimistic about rental yields, while only four percent felt confident about the UK financial market. This was notably lower than the previous year, when 67 percent of respondents were optimistic about rental yields and 42 percent were optimistic about the financial market.
