According to a survey of New Zealand tourism industry owners and operators in April 2021, 24 percent of respondents stated that it would take less than one week to return to pre-COVID capacities in terms of assets and labor. In comparison, just four percent of respondents believed that they would need more than 12 months to return to pre-COVID capacities.
