As a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the global travel and tourism market is predicted to see a loss of 75.2 million jobs worldwide in 2020. The origin country of the virus, China, is supposed to see the biggest loss from SARS CoV 2, losing approximately 25.6 million jobs. Meanwhile, Italy, the European country that has been hit hardest by the virus, is predicted to see a loss of approximately one million jobs in the travel and tourism industry.
