Opinion on virtual romance during COVID-19 lockdown in India 2020

According to a 2020 survey among Indians aged between 18 and 35, 50 percent of respondents believed that virtual relationships might work well for people who were shy or introverts in real life. Meanwhile, 50 percent regarded romance in the virtual world as casual flirting, whereas 46 percent felt that virtual romance might sometimes be dangerous. In general, young Indians still preferred real life romance over virtual relationships.
