British adults who want "carbon counts" on restaurant and cafe menus 2021, by age
In November 2021, the British public was polled on whether they thought menus in restaurants and cafes should include "carbon counts" (a carbon dioxide equivalent number next to the item showing how much greenhouse gas has been emitted to produce it). Approximately 33 percent of adults between the ages of 18 to 24 stated that restaurants and cafes probably should include carbon counts on their menus.
