AVOD viewing time distribution in the U.S. 2021, by ethnicity
According to a survey from June 2021 in the U.S., white people accounted for the majority of viewing time of selected AVOD services. To give an example, the time spent of this ethnic group watching the Roku Channel made up 60 percent of the total viewing time of the ad-supported video-on-demand platform. Meanwhile, Hispanics' share of time spent amounted to nine percent.
