From April 2019 to April 2020 in Canada, frozen, shelf-stable, and fresh fruits all saw increases in their sales. Shelf-stable fruits had the largest increase of about 24 percent, likely due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the focus on buying healthy and long-lasting products.
