Monthly meat price index worldwide 2023

The FAO Meat Price Index* started to increase in October of 2020. For the first few months of the pandemic, prices had declined. In 2021, prices further increased and the index reached an all time high of 125.9 index points in June of 2022, a few months after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Since then, the index has declined to 112.9 in October 2023.
