
Land area used for sugar cane production in Morocco 2020, by region
As of the 2019/2020 crop year, the land area used for the production of sugar cane in Morocco amounted to 11,800 hectares. The region of Rabat - Salé - Kénitra accounted for the largest area, corresponding to nearly 10,000 hectares. Sugar cane production in the region reached approximately 6.5 million quintals in the same period.
