In 2020, pelagic fish production in the Atlantic Ocean in Morocco amounted to around 1.1 million metric tons, accounting for the largest production. Whitefish made up approximately 72 thousand metric tons, while cephalopods including squid and octopus accounted for almost 50 thousand metric tons.
