In 2020, the import value of fish, crustaceans, and mollusks into Namibia amounted to approximately 42 million U.S. dollars. This was a decrease in value in comparison to 2018, when roughly 51 million U.S. dollars of the products were imported. Furthermore, South Africa was one of the main trade partners of Namibia in terms of fish, crustacean, and mollusk imports, with a share of around 20 percent.
