According to a study on the radio consumption in the United Kingdom in 2021, live radio was very popular among the age group of 55 years and older, as 85 percent of respondents tuned in. While live radio was not as popular among the generation of 15 to 24 year-olds, 76 percent of 35 to 54 year-olds also consumed live radio.
