Construction's share of the gross value added in France 2000-2020
In 2020, the contribution of the construction industry to the gross value added (GVA) in France dropped to its lowest value since 2003. The GVA share of this sector has fluctuated during the last decades, but it has remained between 4.9 percent and 6.3 percent. The latest data shows that construction represented 5.2 percent of the GVA of the French economy.
