The railroad segment was the type of infrastructure construction that was most specialized in France in 2020. That means that over 98 percent of the revenue in that segment was generated by companies that specialized in railroad construction. On the other side of the spectrum, only 60 percent of the revenue from agricultural engineering works came from companies specialized in that activity. That same year, new public works constituted most of the revenue of this industry in France.
