France: infrastructure construction revenue by type

Roads were the type of infrastructure construction with the highest revenue in France in 2020, as it reached almost 14 billion euros that year. Meanwhile, general earthworks ranked second on that list with 7.8 billion euros of revenue. Pipes, sewers, and electrical works also had a significant market share. Railroad construction was the most specialized segment of the industry in France, with almost all of that revenue coming from firms specialized in that activity.
