France: factors limiting construction 2022

In June 2022, over 43 percent of surveyed construction companies in France mentioned labor shortage as one of the factors that were limiting their activities. Another disruptive factor for French construction companies at that time were the shortage of material or equipment, with 34 percent of respondents considering it a disruptive factor. At the same time, around a quarter of construction companies considered that there was no factor limiting their activities. In 2021, the number of non-residential construction starts in France increased.
