Sustainability influence on brand choice in the U.S. 2023, by ethnicity and race
According to a survey conducted among consumers in the United States in October 2023, 25 percent of Black, 22 percent of Hispanic, and 16 percent of white respondents said they only bought from brands they considered sustainable or that matched their values. Sustainability was considered alongside with other factors when choosing brands by 54 percent of Black respondents, while 32 percent of white respondents said they seldom considered sustainability while choosing between brands.
