In a survey conducted in Australia between April 2021 and March 2022, around 25 percent of respondents indicated that they would be more likely to buy clothes if they knew the clothes were made in China, representing a higher share than any other product type. Other products Australians were more likely to buy if they were made in China included electrical goods and mobile phones.
