Board diversity at leading U.S. banks 2022, by gender
As of July 2022, the highest share of female directors on the board among the largest U.S. banks was at Citigroup, where more than 58 percent of the directors were female. Among the observed banks, Citigroup and TD Bank were the only banks where the share of female directors exceeded 50 percent. TD Bank was followed by Goldman Sachs and U.S. Bank. The share of female directors was the lowest at Morgan Stanley and at Fifth Third Bank, where 28.6 and 25 percent of the board were female.
