Share of e-cigarettes users in Italy 2020, by gender and age
In 2020, about 2.5 percent of the Italian adult population were using electronic cigarettes. This statistic breaks down this figure by gender and age group of users. The demographic segment among which the use of e-cigarettes was most common was the one comprising of young males between 18 and 24 years of age. The share of electronic cigarettes smokers in this group was six percent. In general, e-cigarette use is more common among men than women.
