Share of e-cigarettes users in Italy 2020, by region

In 2020, about 2.5 percent of the Italian adult population was using electronic cigarettes. This statistic highlights regional differences in this figure. The region where the use of e-cigarettes was most common was Abruzzo, in Central Italy, where 3.1 percent of people aged 18 years and older were using this product, followed closely by Lombardy with three percent. On the other hand, just one percent of residents in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano smoked electronic cigarettes.
