Global victims of financial desktop malware 2020-2021, by user type
In 2021, around 62 percent of users targeted by financial malware attacks worldwide were consumers, while nearly 38 percent targeted corporate users. The number of corporate users targeted in malware attacks experienced a small growth between 2020 and 2021, with consumers being consistently more heavily targeted than corporate users.
