Ukrainian agricultural exports via the Black Sea 2023, by product
Ukrainian agricultural exports via the Black Sea came to about 32.9 million metric tons as of July 17, 2023. Of this volume, a half consisted of corn and over a quarter consisted of wheat. The exports were secured by an agreement between the parties involved in the war in Ukraine, Turkey, and the United Nations. The agreement opens three ports in Ukraine for agricultural exports via the Black Sea. The largest share of these exports went to high-income countries. On July 17, 2023, the Russian government announced that it suspended participation in the deal.
