In 2023, there were 126 foreign banks in Singapore, with 96 wholesale banks and 30 full banks. The number has been steadily increasing over the period measured. Wholesale banks represented the largest number of foreign banks. Among the largest foreign full banks operating in Singapore are ABN Amro, BNP Paribas and HSBC.
