Austria: registrations of new electric cars by state 2021
Electric cars made up 13.9 percent of all newly registered passenger cars in Austria in 2021. In Salzburg and Vorarlberg just over one sixth of new cars were electric, the highest shares of all Austrian states. However, the highest volume of newly registered electric cars can be found in the north east of the country, in Upper and Lower Austria and Vienna.
