Out of the ten contestants of Love Island's 9th season broadcast in 2023, Will Young had the highest number of Instagram followers, amounting to around 134,000. Tanya Manhenga was the second most followed contestant, with roughly 22,800 Instagram followers.

The show sees ten single contestants, as known as Islanders, who live together in a villa isolated from the outside world and are constantly monitored in their attempt to find love.
