People who received mental health treatment in Colombia 2015-2020
In 2020, the number of people treated for mental health conditions in Colombia amounted to around 1.29 million patients, down from approximately 1.64 million individuals who reportedly received mental health treatment a year prior. From 2015 to 2020, the number of people who accessed mental health treatment in the South American country increased by roughly 37 percent. That year, the country had a total of 292.87 mental health professionals per 100,000 population.
