Mercado Libre carried out a survey on sustainable online shopping in Latin American countries, outlining the main features of a sustainable product according to online shoppers. According to the survey results released in March 2023, 40 percent believed a product had to last over time, while nearly the same number of respondents wished the product was socially and environmentally sustainable.
