Monthly labor force quits U.S. 2024

In August 2024, there were an estimated 3.08 million voluntary quits across the labor force in the United States. This is a slight decrease from the previous month, when the number of voluntary quits came to 3.24 million. The early months of 2023 is the first time the monthly number of quits dropped below four million since May 2021.
