Steps taken for internet safety South Korea 2022, by age
According to a survey on internet safety measures in South Korea, many older South Koreans did not take any safety steps at all. This share was around 45 percent for respondents in their fifties, 66 percent for those in their sixties, and over 85 percent for those aged 70 and older. For those surveyed younger than 50, strong passwords, using software and updates, as well as changing passwords periodically proved to be popular measures, with shares ranging from around one third to roughly a half of respondents in those respective age groups.
