U.S.: altered shopping behavior due to retail theft 2023

In late 2023, about a quarter of surveyed U.S. in-store shoppers, who had noticed retail theft, said they had been shopping at stores less frequently as a result. Approximately 15 percent of these respondents said they started shopping in different stores altogether.
