Awareness of self-storage in Europe 2023, by age group

Depending on the age group, between 42 and 52 percent of the respondents in a 2023 survey conducted in Europe had never heard about self-storage as a service. People between the age of 25 and 44 were most aware of the service, with five percent sharing they know it very well and 16 knowing a reasonable amount. Meanwhile, the youngest age group was the least informed, with 53 percent admitting to never have heard about self-storage.
