Industrial & logistics investment in real estate market Europe 2020-2022, by country
Overall, the investment value in the European industrial and logistics real estate sector decreased by almost 20 percent in 2022, reaching about 55.6 billion euros in 2022. The UK, the country with the most investment in the sector, saw volumes fall by almost one-third, reaching 14.4 billion euros. Belgium, Portugal, Finland, Italy, and Germany were the only countries where investment volumes increased. Despite the market contracting, rents increased across most markets.
