In 2023, among all generations, the majority of U.S. respondents named the taste of coffee as the main reason they consume the hot beverage. In fact, this was stated by almost 84 percent of surveyed Baby Boomers, 85 percent of Gen X, 81 percent of Millennials, and 86 percent of Gen Z.
