Factors influencing attending e-sports events in South Korea 2023
According to a survey conducted among e-sports users in South Korea in 2023, around 37 percent of respondents stated that whether or not professional gamers would be present at a given e-sports competition influenced their decision to attend. Overall, the details of the event itself were more important than the venue at which it took place. South Korea hosts dozens of e-sports competitions every year, and even has several venues dedicated to e-sports.
