Most visited art museums worldwide 2019-2021
In 2021, the Louvre in Paris, France reported approximately 2.83 million visitors throughout the year, making it the most visited museum worldwide. Despite welcoming slightly more visitors in 2021 than the year before, the Louvre was not able to attract pre-pandemic levels of attendees. The National Museum of China placed second on the ranking, with around 2.38 million guests recorded throughout 2021.
