Level of interest in various news types in the U.S. in 2015 This statistic shows the share of United States consumers who were interested in hearing about various types of news in 2015. Survey respondents were allowed to choose up to five news categories. In the United States, 52 percent of respondents said that they were interested in hearing news about their town or city.
