This statistic illustrates the results of a survey conducted by Market Force in May 2013. Some 6,645 adults in the United States have been polled about their reasons for preferring a grocery store. Some 67 percent of survey respondents indicated that the provision of low prices is among the key attributes for liking a grocery store.
