Costa Rica: number of homicides 2010-2017

In Costa Rica, the number of homicide victims has been increasing since 2012. The number of people murdered in this Central American country amounted to 603 in 2017, up from 578 murders reported a year earlier. Also in 2017, the country ranked fourteenth among 24 Latin American countries based on number of homicides.
