Italy: manufacture of textiles number of enterprises 2019

The number of enterprises in the textile manufacturing industry in Italy decreased to 11,778 enterprises since the previous year. In 2019, the number of enterprises thereby reached its lowest value in recent years. The recent development could be explained by the fact that Eurostat reports a break in time series for 2017. Notably, the number of enterprises in this industry is continuously decreasing over the last years.
