Audi car sales in Italy 2012-2019

The car sales of the German manufacturer Audi reached 64,445 units sold in Italy in 2019, experiencing an increase in their sales numbers, after a drop in 2018. Audi was the 9th most sold car brand in the EU as of November 2019.

Do Italians always use private vehicles?

According to the data, it seems that Italians do not always use their private vehicles to move within urban areas. According to a 2015 survey, 51 percent of the respondents reported that they would prefer not using their private vehicles to get around in a city they do not know. Only five percent of the respondents reported that they always use their private automobiles.

Car sharing

Car sharing platforms are on the rise in Italy. As of 2018, the three major players in terms of fleet size were Enjoy, car2go, and Share'ngo, with several smaller, local companies springing up.
