Italy: new passenger car registrations 2007-2017 „Intro“  It seems that the Italian passenger car market is experiencing a growth after the decrease that occurred between 2009 and 2013. According to the data, the number of new car registrations increased between 2014 and 2017.
Italians seem to use a lot their cars a lot

    A recent survey stated that 66 percent of the interviewed Italians reported that they own one car , while 14 percent stated that they own more than one car. Furthermore, the car is one of the most used vehicles to move in around town; 48 percent of the respondents reported that they use their car or motorcycle to move around in their town.

Car sharing is on the rise < b>

    Italians seem to enjoy travelling, car sharing services are benefitting too from this fondness. According to the data, Italians seem to use car sharing services especially in big towns (24 percent), while only 12 percent of the respondents reported that they use car sharing platforms in small towns.
